s-in-the-foreseeable-future.12594 Any one hears of a price on the flat samsung series 9 65 inch, i'd appreciate knowing about it). i was not happy, but gave it a chance and run through the settings as i would with any tv. i'm still trying to figure things out as i go, but as a whole it is a great tv and it really thin!
Was planning for a 75 inch, but not worth double the price. Series 9 65 inch KS9000 4K SUHD TV – UA65KS9000W Hey guys, Just received my 65" KS9000 today and man this thing is BRIGHT!! i wasnt expecting much at this point as i was not happy. the frame is really nice in that you almost dont notice it. looks nice but feels cheap and sometimes really hard to push the button as it is flush with the surface and the clicks are loud!
but to my surprised after inputting the settings in and using rtings settings it helped a lot! i put it through some test with 4k hdr stuff (with the samsung player) and normal blu ray content. so with hdr enabled it is really bright as it is gorgeous! settings etc are shuffled around and makes more sense under where they go. also some settings and options have removed or simplified. i do miss the pointer, so inputting text you will be clicking away! nice and responsive and lag time is almost half of the js8000.
watching normal blu ray content the bars stays nice and black, no blooming or clouding, even with subtitles. but you do have some slight fluctuations in the black bars depending on the scene, but it was never too distracting for me. although i must say off centre viewing is a bit crap (as with most va panels) but you are more likely to see the vertical blooming if you stand up or watching from too far on either side of it. only other issue i have is arc doesnt seem to play sound when turning on the tv, as it will power on my soundbar, but no sound and need to turn off the soundbar and on again for it to have sound.
i have tried resetting the tv but i think its just a firmware bug which i hope be resolved with the next update.
